![]() Chela dadyburjori, Menon, 1952 Origin: Southeast-Asia Etymology: Named after Sam Dadyburjor, who worked with Menon. Synonyms:None First European import: Unknown. Description: See pictures. Care: Difficult to keep. Chela dadyburjori should only be kept in large tanks, in large schools(20 or more). This fish inhabits the upper waterlevels, and requires some floating plants and or plants that grow up to the surface on the backs and sides of a tank. The water should be neutral or slightly acidic, and not too hard. A good filtration system and frequent small waterchanges are necessary, in polluted water the fish will soon perish. The main difficulty for keeping these fish are the feeding habits. They only feed from the surface, and only live food is accepted. Drosophila, Black mosquito larvae, Collembola and mosquitos can be fed. Temperature: 22-24 degrees Feeding:See
