Beginner fish

Below is a list of good beginner fish, divided in several categories!

White cloud mountain minnow Recommended, peaceful, very hardy fish. low to medium 40 cm Guppies, Peppered corydoras
Peppered Corydoras Extremely hardy fish, does well in any tank. Cold to warm 60 cm Paradise fish, Guppies, Mountain minnows
Three spot gourami Extremely hardy fish, can be aggressiv Medium to high 80 cm
         
         


Below is a list of fish that are often recommended, but actually require a bit of experience, and are not recommended by this site, with a short explanation.

Dwarf gouramie Requires a properly setup tank, with higher temperatures. If given the right environment, these fish are easy. They are not recommended because all fish in stores are sick when you buy them.
Loaches(clown loach) Require large tanks with proper care! Loaches cannot stand most disease treatments. They should be kept in groups of 6. Clown loaches require 5 ft. tanks!
