Corydoras acrensis, Nijssen, 1972
Origin:South-Amerika, Brazil, Acre - Furo de Lago sao Francisco, a tributary at the left bank of Rio Jurua.
Etymology: From Acre, collection area of the species.
First import:1967, J.P. Gosse
Additional:Fish has been described from only a single specimen. It is not unlikely that this is a taxonomical error.
