Corydoras sterbai, Knaack, 1962

Origin: Brazil

Etymology: Named in honour of Günther Sterba

Synonyms:None

First import: Germany, 1960, by Harald Schultz.

Care: Large groups of these fish are best kept in well planted tanks, with a neutral pH, and medium hard water. Temperature around 24 degrees

Temperature:21-25 degrees

Feeding:Omnivorous

Size: Up to 8 cm.

pH: 6.0-7.5

Breeding: Has been bred in aquaria. Requires a bit more attention than other Corydoras.

Sexual dimorphism: Females are bigger

Prices: Between 7 and 12€
